Who we are
Buildery (buildery.org) is operated as a trading name of a New Zealand registered company. Contact: hello@buildery.org.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter. Stored at Beehiiv (our newsletter platform).
- Form submissions — if you submit a tool, fill in the sponsor form, or contact us, we keep the information you provide.
- Anonymous analytics — page views, country, device type, referrer. No personally identifying information.
- Affiliate referral codes — when you click an affiliate link, the destination vendor receives an anonymous referral code so we get credit for the signup. They do not receive any personal information about you.

Who we share it with
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery and email storage
- Cloudflare — site hosting and DNS
- Google Analytics 4 / Plausible — anonymous traffic analytics
- Gumroad — only if you purchase a paid template (their privacy policy applies to purchases)
We don't sell your email address. We don't share your email with vendors when you click affiliate links.
Cookies
The site uses minimal cookies — essential ones for it to work, and an anonymous analytics cookie. There's no advertising tracking, no third-party retargeting pixels.
Your rights
You have the right to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, port it elsewhere, or complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@buildery.org.
Data retention
We keep your newsletter subscription for as long as you remain subscribed plus 90 days after unsubscribe (for spam complaints / mistaken unsubscribes). Form submissions are kept for 24 months.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside New Zealand. We only use providers that meet equivalent privacy protection standards.
